Who doesn’t like new clothing? Can you ever have too many shoes, is there such a thing as having too many bathrobes ? (I currently have 5) When the lovely folks Driving directions & contest entry formtweeted at me inviting me to a private event to help launch their new store at the Middlesex Commons in Burlington,MA I jumped at the chance. Btw, the new store opens to the public tomorrow morning 9/8/11 and there going to be a HUGE giveaway!
This blouse will rock with leggings & boots
This bathrobe is buttery soft, I walked around the store hugging it!
The new Nordstrom Rack is lovely, very spacious, & well appointed, I was struck by how large the shoe department is. Also impressive was the wide selection of really nice clothing in plus sizes. Plenty of great things for men, suits, dress clothing & name brand sports attire as well as things for the kids. The handbag section was awesome too, I spied a Coach bag that normally retails for $579 for just $179. Most importantly, the clothing being offered is top quality, every garment I touched was intact, none of those ripped, faded pieces with gapping seams & missing buttons that you find at a lot of outlet type stores. No having to pick through piles of junk hoping to find a gem. The sales staff was pleasant, attentive without being overbearing.
My haul? the 2 garments pictured above plus a great coat sweater, regular ARV of almost $200 for $59 and change.. being able to stay fashionably dressed at reasonable prices is a huge part of finer living and shopping at Nordstrom’s Rack will definitely help you accomplish both goals! I was favorably impressed with the new Rack Store, will be frequenting it regularly as selections of designer, famous maker clothing & shoes will change often, My thanks to the great folks at Nordstrom’s for inviting me.
FTC: I was an invited guest at the Nordstrom Rack private opening Event, I received a gift card but was given no other compensation, nor was I required to write this post.
