Ever had the kind of day when nothing seems to be going right? The type of day when you lose no opportunity to grumble? Unfortunately, as nice as I am I tend at times to be ungrateful, to give space in my brain far too often to negative thoughts. The universe however tends to offer me up plenty of corrective food for thought and this week has been no exception!
On Twitter I noticed a lot of tweets asking for prayers for
I quickly followed, went to the blogand read the most heart shredding story of 2 yr old Layla Grace, a beautiful child suffering from the agonies of Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. This child and her family are undergoing suffering that I cannot comprehend ! Mere words cannot describe how how much the tweets and blog updates by her loving parents have moved so many people, myself included!
I sit here today humbled by the strength and courage of this brave 2 yr old, I sit and weep in gratitude for my own 3 adult children, healthy and strong and vow that just for today I’m going to focus on being grateful for all the blessings in my life!.
The family is seeking donations, 100% of which will be going to pay for Layla Grace’s care! Follow this family on twitter, send them your prayers on Facebook and as you hug your own healthy child, considering making a donation to help this family defray what must be a moutain of medical bills at this point!
