As many of you might know I’m going to BlogHer10 in NYC next week! I say that rather tongue in cheek because it’s all my long suffering Twitter followers have heard about for the last week :) Anyhoo.. I am new to the blogging world, I was fortunate to be selected to work at BlogHer10 as a greeter ,May I carry your bags Madame? :) this meant my admission would be free but what about hotel, travel costs, clothing, business cards? I could afford some of these things, had planned on them but needed some help. What to do? I sat down & thought about products that I use, things that I love, companies that are actually NICE to women & value our business.
I decided to reach out to Ergotron http://www.ergotron.com/Home/tabid/36/Default.aspx I am lucky enough to have a computer/monitor stand of theirs & I love it, it ended my eyestrain & gave me so much extra room on my desk! Plus, when I needed help assembling my stand (It was easy, I just had an idiot moment) when I called for support the CS rep at Ergotron was really NICE he answered my question quickly & actually found a face saving excuse for my idiot moment:) There was no long hold time, none of that sneering tone of voice that many tech CS reps have when dealing with women. Just pleasantness & help!
It is my great pleasure to announce that the lovely folks at Ergotron have agreed to help me defray the costs of attending BlogHer10! As if that wasn’t generous enough I’m going to be reviewing an awesome workstation that they say can be assembled in 15 minutes! http://www.ergotron.com/tabid/65/language/en-US/default.aspx?FID=94
Now to celebrate my very 1st BlogHer conference I’ll be holding a giveaway, details to be announced very soon hint: checkout the “Just Stand” button on my sidebar :)
FTC: Disclaimer: I am being provided with cash sponsorship by Ergotron & a workstation product for review
